The "Freshwater Fisheries" site was laid out by Bob Wattendorf. Bob received his initial training in web site production from Florida State University's Askew School of Public Administration.

Content is primarily derived from Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission employees and publications. Fish illustrations were created by Duane Raver, Jr. Similarly most photos were taken by FWC employees notably, those of most native fish were taken by Gray Bass and those of exotic fishes are from Paul Shafland's collection and many of the fishing scenes were contributed by Phil Chapman, Stan Kirkland or Larry Connor.

Bob Kawula of our Office of Environmental Services provided the maps for the fishing piers and boat ramps based on GIS software.

Software used for the development of these pages and clip art programs are licensed to the FWC or its predecessor the Game and Fresh Water Fish Commission. An occasional icon or tile was taken from a variety of web sites offering free graphics. Notable among these are the following:
