The Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, WHO NEEDS AN
AQUACULTURE CERTIFICATE? Aquaculture Certificates are required by any
person engaging in aquaculture. This includes commercial culture of: - Native Florida Species (including game fish)
- Non-native species - Restricted
non-native Species - Importing conditional or other non-native fish species
(including tropical fish) for aquaculture - The Division of
Aquaculture will issue a conditional species authorization for restricted
(Conditional) non-native fish cultured in a Certified Aquaculture Facility. Fish farmers possessing an Aquaculture Certificate of
Registration and selling their cultured fish or cultured fish from other
certified aquaculturists do not have to possess a FWC fish dealers
license. Non-farmers selling cultured, imported or wild fish must have a
FWC fish dealers license. HOW DO I GET AN AQUACULTURE CERTIFICATE? To obtain an Aquaculture
