The Species Conservation Planning Section (SCPS) is principally responsible for review and issuance of permits which involve Florida's protected land wildlife such as scientific collection, migratory bird nest removal and relocation.
The Imperiled Species Management (ISM) is involved in the review and issuance of permits which involve Florida's protected aquatic wildlife such as the manatee environmental resource permitting program.
